Q You mentioned that it is advisable to wear computer specific glasses after my Lasik treatment. I don’t see any of my friends who have undergone Lasik wear glasses while working on the computer. Can you please explain this to me… From what I understand, my vision will be 20/20 or better. What would the power of my glasses be if I have perfect vision?

Ans.  Which is why when they may visit an optometrist, there maybe a shift in 0.5D or 0.75D. This shift is usually not noticed by many, and does not bother routine work.

But it is well documented that computers work for long hours, continuously, does cause a shift in myopia. And genuine computer glasses are + powered, not a marketing gimmick of ‘zero powered and anti reflective’.
