The consultation and LASIK work up will be performed by Dr Anand Shroff, our LASIK surgeon at the LASIK centre, Shroff Eye Hospital, Mumbai, India. He has large experience with LASIK and even trains doctors worldwide on wavefront [Custom LASIK] measurements.

A complete eye assessment is required to check a patient’s suitability for LASIK.

Tests include refraction, contrast sensitivity, pupil size, pupil reaction, slit lamp examination, retinal examination, tonometry, pachymetry, aberrometry, topolyzer measurements, topography and tests for dry eye among others. These tests would take about 60-90 minutes as it includes pupillary dilation.

For your own safety we request you to not self-drive home after the tests as the vision may be slightly blurry for a couple of hours.

To set up an appointment for the consultation, the only prerequisite is to be off soft lenses for at least 3-4 days and semi-soft lenses for 3 weeks.
