COVID-19 and Contact lens wear

Should I wear Contact lenses during COVID-19 pandemic or consider alternatives to remove my powers?

According to the American Association of Ophthalmologists (AAO) and Centre for Disease Control (CDC) Coronavirus can spread through the eyes, just as it does through the mouth or nose. As you know, contact lens wearing means taking your finger and putting the lens in your eyes. So, in theory, if your hands become contaminated with coronavirus and you touch your eyes, you could become infected.

If you wear contact lenses, consider switching to glasses for a while or consider LASIK or Laser Eye Procedures.

More so if you find yourself touching your eyes frequently, this would be a good time to consider LASIK Laser as a permanent treatment.
